When we wound up on the shore of our own subconscious, we lost sight of what was real. //Inception I love this line, it’s so poetic, “the shore of our own subconscious”, it’s both literal and figurative. They literally show up on a beach, on the shore, right at the spot that transitions between land and ocean, between the reality of land and the ocean of our own subconscious imaginations, and sometimes we find ourselves on the shore, especially in our dreams, ebbing and flowing between imagination and reality. Sometimes we allow our minds to run away with themselves in our own imagined reality, our own personal limbo’s. We lead ourselves to believe that things can work out a certain way, or we lead ourselves to perceive that things are working a certain way. Sometimes we wake up to reality, sometimes we don’t. I love this line.
